Panel Discussion, Museum of Sophiahof – The Hague, NL

I was invited to participate in a panel discussion with artists Paul Witty and Sicovecas, moderated by Chrissy, Program Manager of the Museum of Sophia Hof. The panel focused on street art, visual identity, and the role of public art in shaping urban culture. I shared insights into how Indonesian cultural heritage informs my mural work and the narratives I bring to public spaces, while also discussing collaborative initiatives through Doewa Matjan, a collective founded by Danny Rumble that connects Indonesian and Dutch artists. The discussion examined how cultural backgrounds influence artistic expression and how cross-cultural collaboration can strengthen dialogue between communities. The session also gave the audience insight into Indonesian and Dutch cultural connections, emphasizing the ways in which public art can reflect shared histories, identities, and creative exchanges across borders.
