"Seeds of Continuation" for Terra Nexus Exhibition

Seeds of Continuation is a series of fruit paintings that hold a figure within them, a reflection on growth, care, and the slow unfolding of transformation. Each piece celebrates the beauty of staying true to one’s own shape. Reminding us that radiance comes not from changing who we are, but from inhabiting our form fully.
The works are embraced by hand-knitted braids made in collaboration with my parents, turning each painting into something held and protected. For this installation, the braid extends beyond the frames, stretching into a pink path that moves across the wall. The path speaks of kinship, of threads that bind us to one another, of connections that continue even when unseen.
By weaving painting and textile together, the work becomes both personal and communal, a quiet affirmation that we are never separate, but always part of something that holds us.
